At Home OnCall Scheduler

Home Care agency is seeking an on-call scheduler to cover nights and weekends. The schedule allows for alternating weekends with our current on-call scheduler and occasional night shifts. The position requires answering all calls that come in during the shift, responding to any scheduling needs that arise during the shift, contacting supervisor for any issues that are outside of your scope or knowledge, minor problem solving and documentation of what has occurred during the shift

Applicants must have a mobile phone that is available 24 hours/day, a computer with Windows XP at a minimum and access to internet to allow you to log into our database from your location.

Applicant must have excellent telephone skills and great customer service skills. Some experience in Health Care allowing you to recognize emergency situations is helpful. These shifts may involve calls in the middle of the night and applicant must be able to respond to these calls as well. Late night calls are possible but not frequent.

Applicant must: provide references, pass a ciminal background check, pass drug and alcohol test and successfully complete an interview. A one-day training session in the Scottsdale office is required.
