Freelance Legal Writer

New legal website for consumers is seeking attorneys and law students to write articles on a freelance basis.

Writers will create reader-friendly articles for assigned states, including citations to state case law and statutes. Ability to research citations required.

The language must be straightforward; no legalese. Tone is informal, comparable to blogging.

The pay is a flat rate of $150 per piece. Basic article framework will remain the same from state to state, but the specifics for each will change according to the particular laws. Length will vary, from approximately 1,000 to 2,500 words, plus legal citations.
