Partial Telecommute Coach for Director of Client Exp.

New Life is a start up company developing a comprehensive healthy lifestyle program for clients living with serious illness. Expected to launch this fall, this multi-faceted fourth-month program will offer participants twice-weekly group therapy and yoga sessions, monthly community programming, and on-going personal coaching & concierge services. Currently, we are finalizing the program components and transitioning into setting up and operating the company. Key to this work is adding the Director of Client Experience, a member of our core leadership team. We hope this person will help us develop and run the personal-coaching & concierge services as well as the sales process.

Overview of Role
* Develops & leads the client experience including individual client programs, introduction retreats, community-wide monthly programming, and client communications
* Works closely with marketing & operations to facilitate sales process and client communications
* Works closely with other program directors to coordinate a cohesive client experience
* Reports to Founder and Team Leader
* As the company grows, this person will also likely:
- Work as the first and lead concierge for clients
- Manage additional concierge staff (hire/fire, train & develop)
- Manage an Event Manager who coordinates the monthly community programs and introductory retreats (hire/fire, train & develop)

Initial Responsibilities
The following are tasks to be completed as the business gets set-up:

* Develop the Concierge Department
- Finalize personal coaching program goals & objectives
- Finalize personal coaching process & initial consultation model
- Develop a roster of recommended practitioners (private trainers, breath workers, massage therapists, art classes, music instructors, etc)
- Work with business team to determine operational processes, price structure, and sales process
- Collaborate with marketing team to create client materials (client contract, welcome package, handouts, etc)
- Develop qualifications for additional concierge staff and hire/fire as necessary
- Create a manual/handbook for future department staff

Ongoing Responsibilities
The following are tasks to be completed once the company is operating and we are working with clients:

* Ensure Terrific Client Experience
- Supervise overall client experience to ensure a cohesive, values-driven experience is given to each client in each and every one of their interactions with the program

* Lead Concierge Department
- Be the first and lead concierge
- Revise & improve personal coaching process & initial consultation model
- Revise manual/handbook for future department staff
- Continue developing and maintaining roster of recommended practitioners
- Work with business team to smooth operational processes and sales process

* Work Closely With Marketing Department on Client Communications
- Monthly newsletters
- Website
- Special notices

* Oversee Production of Community Programming and Introductory Retreats
- Lead production & logistics of introductory retreats
- Lead production & logistics of monthly community programming

Qualifications
* Business & Program Development Skills
- Able to work both as a strong leader and team player
- Initiative to take the lead on program development and turn ideas into fully developed & functioning program
- Strategic business sense with an eye for planning, structuring
- Solid sense of marketing, branding and no-pressure sales
- Staff management experience (hiring, firing, directing & motivating)
- Event/Program planning experience
- Strong communication (written & verbal) and coordination skills
- Flexibility and openness to the creative process

* Personal Coaching/Concierge Skills/Customer Service Experience
- Experience working one-on-one with clients to overcome serious physical, mental and emotional obstacles
- Strong customer service background
- Knowledge of and connections to the DC-area wellness community
- Passion for holistic healthy living
- A fresh positive mindset

Time Commitment
* We are looking for 20-40+ hours a month to start with initial work being done primarily from your home office.
* Employment status will be as an Independent Contractor to start with future employment highly-probable down the road.
* Compensation to be determined with the selected candidate.
