Partial Telecommute 3+ Month Contract for Web Genius
Looking for highly-talented, experience software developer for a 3 month project to work on a variety of projects. Experience with all aspects of software development and maintenance are required. Projects will include: application/db migration, prototyping, core development, process documentation, requirements analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience with both large and small teams, completed at least 1 full lifecycle software development project, and be familiar with a variety of technologies.
This is an initial 3 month project with opportunity for continuation or full-time is there is mutual interest and fit.
Some onsite time is required, but flexible with regard to work-from-home.
MUST HAVE
- expert in one of Rails, Java, PHP
- /some/ experience with all of the above
- experience on team using scrum, agile or XP
- Full lifecycle software development experience on at least 1 project
- excellent written and verbal communications skills (english)
- expert HTML/CSS skills, some Javascript/Ajax experience
NICE TO HAVE
- direct experience with: Wordpress, Mysql, Postgres, Lucene, JMX, Solr, Centos, Facebooker
- Photoshop/UI/UX skills
- SEO, page optimization experience
- cloud computing experience (EC2, S3, Slicehost, etc)
