Telecommute Training Project Manager
We are working exclusively with our client in locating two experienced Project Managers to provide support in the execution of training development projects. In these roles, qualified Project Managers will provide overall project management and organization of internal and external resources. This will include: executing the Work Plan, attending and documenting project meetings, managing processes that involve people, assuring consistency in instructional design and functionality, reviewing deliverables, and researching/applying internal and external tools. The emphasis will be on performing general project management tasks with a very high degree of organization and exceptional people skills.
Project #1:
This project requires a Project Manager with Instructional Design experience, and will involve building 40+ courses using an external vendor for design and development. The course objectives are to build the audience's knowledge of various business sectors (finance, auto, etc.) and teach basic applicable business fundamentals.
Project #2:
The client has purchased Business Simulations and an external vendor will be providing customization services. This will involve a high degree of vendor management, scheduling, research, and capturing progress notes.
Requirements:
* Degree in Instructional Technologies, Education of similar field required
* Project Management certification preferred
* 7-10 yeas business experience
* 5+ years experience in learning and development including solid knowledge of instructional design principals and an understanding of the management of training development projects
* 3+ years experience in Project Management roles
* Solid experience in Project Management Life-cycle
* Management Consulting industry experience highly preferred
* Experience with MS Office Suite and Gantt charts (MS Project a plus)
* Experience with Timelines and Information Flow
* Must be highly organized (with references to support)
* Excellent people and communication skills (with references to support)
* Experience working virtually and independently

Duration: 3-6 months
Location: 100% telecommute. Consultant may work virtually.
