Work from Home Medical Coder

CPC or AHIMA-RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CCS-P certified coder wanted with a minimum of 3 years experience for a flexible part time, work from home opportunity.

Job Requirements:
1. Proficient in ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding guidelines and practices.
2. Perform Medisoft database set up, audits and maintenance.
3. Perform setup and maintenance for EDIs between billing management software and payors.
4. Analyze, interpret and implement new coding procedures, rules and regulatory requirements.
5. Ability to write business correspondence related to denials and coding audits.
6. Advanced knowledge of medical terminology.
7. Good customer service skills.
