Telecommute Consultant-Media Research Analyst
Hill & Knowlton (H&K), one of the world’s largest public relations and public affairs networks, is seeking two Consultant Media Research Analysts to support existing projects for a high profile client. The work hours are from 10:15 pm EST – to 4:15 am EST, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
On a daily basis, the Media Research Analysts will monitor and research media from available sources, such as newspapers, television, radio, online news, and blogs. The Analysts will then prepare a daily media monitoring brief, to be sent to H&K editors by 4:15 am EST.
Qualifications and Requirements

- Two to four years of verifiable experience in media analysis, communications, international affairs, market research, or related areas**This experience can be a combination of graduate education and work experience**
- The ability to read, identify and sort relevant articles based on a set of pre-determined criteria
- The ability to be trained and develop proficiency in the proprietary software tools provided
- Knowledge and understanding of current political affairs/defense-related topics
- The ability to work under tight deadline pressure
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work unsupervised
- B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited university or college
This is a telecommuting position, with occasional meetings on site at the H&K office in Arlington, Va.
