Windows Server 2008 DirectAccess Subject Matter Expert
GrandMasters is a Bellevue, Washington company focused on providing the best in IT consulting and content development services. We are currently looking for a SME in DirectAccess to help us devleop a technical guide for one of our Clients.
The objective of this guide is to accelerate successful deployments of DirectAccess, a capability new in Windows Server 2008 R2. We are looking for a subject matter expert (SME) to help us with creating this guide. DirectAccess involves several different Microsoft technologies, so the SME should have the following experience:
• 2+ years experience with planning and designing remote access solutions, including VPNs.
• Experience with Certificate Services, NAP, smart card certificates, health certificates, PKI, and IPSec.
• Knowledge of IPv6 transition technologies like ISATAP, Teredo, NAT-PT and 6to4, and benefits/limitations of each.
• It is imperative that the SME has implemented DirectAccess in at least pilot deployments, in both the single server deployment model and multiple server configuration.
• Understands the differences between the three different access models as we will be helping the reader choose which to use.
• Target audience for the guide is IT architects and IT Pros in Upper MORG and LORG.
This will be a 50 page guide. This will be developed over a 4 month period, with the heaviest involvement in the first 2 months. We need one SME for this project. The SME will work with a Microsoft Tech Lead and a GrandMasters Tech Writer to develop the guide. We expect this project to take approximately 36 hours of the SMEs work but this will be paid on a fixed flat rate of $3600.00.
