Work at Home Events Marketing Manager

MarketingProfs is seeking an energetic, hard working Events Marketing Manager to support its events business. Like all MarketingProfs positions, this position offers the flexibility that comes from working entirely from your home office.

This position will be responsible for:

Identifying business unit marketing and/or communication campaign needs based upon current business objectives.
Determining project objectives and strategies.
Managing all aspects of each marketing and/or communications project, from conceptualization through execution and implementation.
Evaluating results of marketing campaigns and developing recommendations based upon results.

Qualifications include:

Minimum of five years experience managing integrated marketing campaigns and projects
Minimum three years project management/supervisory experience.
Experience managing outside vendors and independent contractors, such as graphic designers, copywriters, list brokers, etc.
Extensive and successful track record in email and direct marketing.
Excellent PC skills with proficiency in software programs and knowledge of HTML.
Strong project and time management skills to tackle multiple programs simultaneously.
Sound creative judgment with advertising/direct marketing production knowledge.
Excellent written, verbal and negotiation communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact professionally with all levels of management, across functions and business units.
Knowledge of Google optimizer and Adwords is a plus
Experience working with social communities such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook also a plus
Ability to work a virtual work arrangement with flexible work hours.

This position is worked from a home office, with the exception of very occasional travel to live events and meetings. Must have a working computer and high speed Internet access and be capable of balancing flexibility of hours with company deadlines and priorities. As with all our employees, the Marketing Communications Specialist must be effective at maintaining virtual relationships, including regular conference calls and meetings. Since we are a small company, job will inevitably include “other duties as assigned.”
