Remote WordPress Developer

I'm a web designer and developer stepping out of project implementation and looking to assemble a web implementation team. The most immediate need is for an experienced WordPress developer to assist in wrapping up a few pending projects. Three projects in particular need to be wrapped up over the next week (or sooner).

WP Developer should be able to:
* Fully understand WP's abilities as it relates to content management and in driving a non-blog based website.
* Develop a completely custom WP theme from a set of graphic proofs.
* Be comfortable making custom database calls in working with plugins, etc.
* Develop custom, front-end PHP and Javascript code to accomplish what could be bundled as "Web 2.0" features - AJAX, etc. (I normally work with Mootools for JS integration.)
* Comfortably navigate hosting systems to install and configure a new WordPress installation.
* Accomplish minor graphic design items as it relates to polishing a WP theme.
* Also, any custom plugin development abilities might come in handy.

Must be able to meet in the Cool Springs area of Franklin/Brentwood but can work from anywhere. I work with CS4 exclusively so having CS4 would be ideal.

Currently, work would include getting a couple of pending projects off the ground and updating some existing installations. Eventually I'll be placing contractors into teams to implement larger web strategies for clients. I'm looking for those interesting in being a part of a team environment who work well in a self-managed system.

Compensation for immediate needs is in the $15-25/hour range depending on work to be done and experience of developer.

Please email over general information, any thoughts, and portfolio or project list. I'll be calling interested individuals this afternoon (Wednesday) through Friday.

Thanks!
-Ryan
