Possible Work from Home Worker's Comp Adjuster

Our client, a leading Third Party Administrator, is currently looking for two Senior Workers’ Compensation Adjusters. They have continued to double their revenue and progressive employment practices makes our client the place where great people maximize their career possibilities.

Primary Purpose:
To analyze higher-level workers' compensation claims to determine benefits due; to ensure ongoing adjudication of claims within company standards and industry best practices; and to manage subrogation of claims and negotiate settlements.

Processes workers' compensation claims determining compensability and benefits due on long-term indemnity claims; monitors reserve accuracy and files necessary documentation with state agency.

• Maintains a quality assurance program to support the Total Performance Management initiative and the consistent delivery of quality claims service.
• Develops and manages workers' compensation claims action plans to resolution, coordinates return-to-work efforts, and approves claim payments.
• Manages subrogation of claims and negotiates settlements.
• Communicates claim action/processing with claimant and client.

Experience:
5-7 years of Workers' Compensation claims handling experience required

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
• Effective analytical and interpretive skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
