Partial Telecommute Web Developer
Part-time Web Developer position availble to create a new website. Candidates must have a computer science or engineering degree, must be proficient in Ajax and LAMP development. Project entails working closely with a graphic artist to integrate functionality and aesthetics into new site design.

Responsibilities include:
• Develop, launch and maintain consumer facing web-based applications
• Identify opportunities for enhancing the consumer experience and internal platform tools through new functionality, standard development, and code optimization
• Collaborate with team to develop and execute against production schedules (site launches and updates)
• Establish and perform ongoing quality assurance tests including functional testing and browser/OS interoperability
• Interface with internal IT and external technology resources
• Maintain all front-end code to the highest of internet standards
Qualifications:
• 2+ years web development experience
• Proven track record with the following tools/code/technology: AJAX and LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) development, XHTML, DHTML, HTML, Flash and JavaScript
• Familiarity with and ability to implement front-end best practices for SEO (search engine optimization)
• Experience in both Windows and Mac development environments
• Detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and adhere to tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work on a cross-functional team; ability to communicate in both technical and business environments
• Proven ability to work in a fast growing/ever-changing technology and operational environment
• Bachelor’s degree required
