Graphic Designer-Freelance Job
Design studio seeking experienced Freelance Graphic Designer and/or web designers on a contract basis. Candidates must have a degree or diploma in graphic design, at least 2 years' experience, exceptional communication skills, and the abilities to meet deadlines, work remotely, and attend on-site meetings.
GRAPHIC DESIGNER:
- Exceptional creativity and concept development
- Skilled in Adobe CS3/CS4 Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro
- Strong understanding of prepress, resolution DPI, CMYK and RGB
- Excellent typography skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Projects would include logos, advertisements, brochures, flyers, signs, banners, mailers, posters etc.
WEB DEVELOPER:
- Ability to take direction from the Art Director
- Must be able to convert web designs in layered Photoshop files into HTML code. Must have exception coding skills
- Ability to hand code would be an asset
- Must understand XHTML/CSS, Flash, Dreamweaver, AJAX/Prototype, PHP/MySQL, JavaScript, Microsoft .NET/SQL Server, Wordpress CMS
- Competent with developing sites that are cross browser and cross platform compatible
- Location: Abbotsford, BC
