Partial Telecommute Web Developer

We are seeking junior to intermediate developer to join our Technology Team in Los Angeles/Simi Valley area.
You'll be working in a small team developing web applications in Python, Django, AJAX, JavaScript, Jquery and MySQL in an agile development environment. Prior experience in Python and Django is not required.

We would like to find a candidate with strong experience building cross-platform, cross browser web applications. We're looking for smart people who can learn quickly, love technology, and want to work on innovative web applications.

The ideal person should be highly-motivated, have strong communication skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements:
- Experienced in HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, DOM, JQuery and other Web 2.0 Technologies
- Linux, SQL and MySQL experience
- Experience in developing cross-platform, cross-browser web applications
- Good knowledge of object-oriented design
- Python and Django experience desirable
- Attention to quality
- Ability to become proficient in new languages quickly and read and understand other people's code
- 1 to 5 years experience. We will consider recent college graduates and interns also.

BSc in Computer Science or equivalent

Position Type : Part Time/Full Time, Contract to hire

Work Location: Work from Home, face to face meetings with other team members during the week or Saturday as needed.  Los Angeles CA
