Reputable consulting firm is seeking a freelance web programmer or design firm to provide a quote for coding two interactive pages for an existing webpage design project.

YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO COMPLETE THE WORK NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 10th. Please do NOT respond if you are not available to complete the between now and September 10th.

The work will be done remotely, this freelance position does not provide office space. So must have your own computer equipment and office to complete the project. Your employer will be remote, located in Arlington Heights, and your supervisor will be remote, located in Barrington.

Work Detail:

1) Create a member directory page with interactive utility. Directory must be Alphabetically sortable on-the-fly by Business Name, Member Name, Business Category and potentially sortable by membership level. It would also allow a user to search by zip code or within a radius of a zip code (radius parameters TBD). Initial number of members will be 15-20. Design must have unlimited room for growth as member base expands. OK to use a pre-existing software package to create this feature, however you must know how to install and configure it, and please include the application's purchase price in your quote.

2) Create an Events calendar page with interactive utility. The page will provide site visitors with a calendar format of fundraisers, seminars, and related events. Monthly and daily calendar views are needed. Calendar feature must have the ability for non-technical staff to update the calendar in-house without damaging style sheets or any design elements. OK to use a pre-existing software package to create this feature, however you must know how to install and configure it, and please include the application's purchase price in your quote.

Required Skills:

1) Programmer/Freelancer has to know how to write code (such as PHP or Java) necessary to create the 2 pages as described above.

2) Programmer/Freelancer must help client choose proper web hosting services from the ISP to make the code work properly. Programmer must also handle all server installs, if necessary (e.g. PHP) and will be responsible for coordinating with the ISP host to configure the proper hosting server support.

Other Requirements:

1) Programmer/Freelancer agrees that all project files become property of the end client with no residual rights.

2) Programmer/Freelancer agrees that a confidentiality agreement will be signed for the Client prior to beginning work.

3) Programmer/Freelancer agrees to be compensated at the close of the whole design project, which is scheduled for Oct. 1. (You submit the invoice, the firm bills the Client for the entire project, the firm receives compensation from Client, and then your invoice is paid). If you are chosen for the work, your quote will be included in a budget document that will be submitted to and signed by the client for the firm, so the client will have agreed to compensation before your work begins.
