Remote Design Engineer-Landfill/Solid Waste

Portland, OR  based environmental engineering consulting firm is looking for an experienced solid waste/landfill design engineer to work on storm water structures and leachate ponds, among other landfill designs and support facilities.  

Responsibilities:

• Subsurface modeling
• Geotechnical settlement and stability analyses
• Leachate generation modeling
• Selection of liner and final cover components
• Storm water modeling
• Landfill gas modeling
• Preparation of permitting and construction drawings, reports, specifications, CQA plans, etc
• Must be able to work independently with minimal oversight and as part of a team
