Medical Transcriptionist

We are looking for an experienced medical transcriptionist who can work in WP5.1, has or is willing to work in DSS (Olympus), WAV./WMA. files, CDs, digital voice/telephone. You need to also have excellent grammar and good listening skills as well as a good grasp of anatomy, medical terminology, and common sense. You must be willing to purchase the equipment needed to work (we can discuss this)and be willing to work from your home. You will be considered a subcontractor, so benefits are not provided. We do pay by the line, which will be discussed at the time of your resume submission and subsequent interview. We have been in business for 11+ years and still growing, and are looking for someone who is willing to grow with us. This position will likely be full-time, but you will probably start out slower than that in order to get settled into our routine. Most of our transcribers have been with us for five or more years, some as long as 10, as have many of our clients, so we are looking to have someone who is planning for a future in this field. We generally need to have you come to the office for a period of at least one week for some on-the-job training, but if your experience warrants it, we can waive that requirement. You will need to come to the office for an interview.

Compensation: Based on our line compensation rate, our transcribers average between $16.00 to $25.00 per hour.
