Personal Assistant for Entrepreneur
Entrepreneur/project manager looking for smart, diligent part-timer to assist me with projects and self-management
What I am looking for:
- personal assistant who can grasp the scope of my work and help manage my calendar and multiple to-do lists
- someone brainy: mature students, incl. international students, are encouraged to respond
- highly organized person, diligent and thorough, and excellent at your own time management (ie complement me)
- good writer and communicator so as to handle some of my email communication and meeting notes/syntheses
- extremely online savvy and comfortable working remotely, ie through email, IM, phone
- need NOT be familiar with work CONTENT (I will do the majority of it), but need to be excellent at time management PROCESS
My situation:
- working on several exciting projects, at the UN, in hotel development, and online business
- have ivy-league BA + MBA and great passion for my work.
- have built extensive networks and I need to maintain and manage these relationships
- each project has multiple workstreams with long lists of tasks that need to get done (primarily by me, some by you and others)
- however, my time management is falling behind my ambition to pursue these projects in parallel
- so I find myself spinning my wheels and wasting time on admin and self-management processes
Logistics:
- part-time only, e.g. 10h/week (plus occasional spikes for more complex tasks depending on your interest/availability etc)
- you have a lot of flexibility as to when to work (probably two set touch points per day, midday and end of day, rest of time should be flexible)
- you have 100% location flexibility as long as you are available online (and sometimes phone)
- pay is negotiable within reason; please let me know what you have in mind
- no need to send a resume, simply write a few lines about your situation and your interest in this role
- I strongly prefer smarts/diligence over experience
* Location: flexible location
* Telecommuting is ok.
