Remote Developer and Site Support
Company has an opening for an individual to provide Website Development and Support for 3 customer and partner facing websites. First couple weeks of initial discovery, ramp-up and documentation could be full time; however, most of work will be Part Time and/or on an On-call basis.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting hanging services or broken feeds
- Updating text on web pages or emails
- Working with partners on new projects (such as surveys and contests)
- Manually editing data records for mismatched users and products
- Monitoring nightly and weekly feeds with partners
Requirements:
- MUST provide consistently high level of quality maintaining websites
- MUST provide exceptional customer service
- MUST be extremely professional with excellent work ethics
Website information:
- Hosted at a co-lo in Southern California
- The three sites are running as VMs on a single VMWare ESX host
- Site#1 is IIS, C# and MS SQL 2005
- Site#2 is JBOSS, proprietary Java code, Apache and Oracle database
- Site#3 is IIS, C#, .NET and MS SQL 2005
These projects will need to be supported at least through the end of the year. In addition to the support of these three websites, there is the opportunity to expand support role to other systems in the company.
Location: Remote
Compensation: $500/week for routine support (~10 hours) and $50/hour for additional time as needed
