Partial Telecommute Web Developer/Design

Position is available for a Web Developer who can design and build new features and functionality for company website. You can be located anywhere in the Bay Area. You will be primarily working from home/telecommuting.

You must have expert HTML and CSS skills, and be very familiar with the latest standards. Our site supports Internet Explorer v7 and v8, Safari v3 and v4, Firefox v3 and Opera v8 and v9. Support for Internet Explorer v6 or prior is not mandatory.

Some page interactions and interface features require the use of the jQuery script library, therefore knowledge of jQuery is highly desirable. 

You must be able to handle some limited visual and interaction design as well.

This position is a part-time contract position. It is anticipated that the average number of hours per week to be approximately 30-40 during July, August and September, scaling back to approximately 20 hours per week after that.

To be successful in this position, you must have the following capabilities:
Able to quickly and skillfully build mockups using Photoshop following existing site style guidelines
Code HTML to web standards
Code CSS to web standards
Experience designing front end user interfaces, with a particular interest in social networks
JavaScript experience
jQuery experience

Nice to have:
Experience using or knowledge of popular social network APIs, such as Facebook Connect and YouTube
HTML Email coding standards (i.e. table-based layouts with limited integrated CSS)
