Freelance Writers
New, freely distributed women’s magazine is seeking Freelance Writers for articles geared toward professional, successful women ages 25 and over.
Articles on the following topics are accepted:
- Careers, Lifestyles, Food and Wine
- Sports and fitness
- Nutrition
- Fashion and Beauty
- Business and Finance
- Mental, Physical, and Spiritual Health
- Home Decorating
- Gardening and Landscaping
- Entertaining
- Travel and Leisure
- Local and International Human Interest
- Interview with area women with interesting stories to tell
- Poetry and fiction will be determined by the editor’s discretion according to content and other criteria
Current Needs:
- Restaurant Reviews (One in the Twin Cities and one in a small community around the River Valleys): Cuisine and Wine
- Entertainment Reviews: Experienced Reviewers for local plays, concerts, etc.
- Travel Writers: Local vacation spots and a few global travelers (Will not pay for hotel, flight, etc) – someone who has written material
- Arts and Entertainment: Writers who have connections with local artists and entertainers in the St. Croix and Mississippi River valleys
Submissions of prior work for all listed categories is a plus
