Freelance Writers
Several positions are available for Freelance Writers to assist with ongoing part-time work (15-25 hours per week) by quickly writing a wide variety of articles (250-400 words) for travel websites. Pay is $6.50 to $9.25 per short article. Typical articles include: Pay is determined by length of article and difficulty level of writing. Will be able to repurpose and reference other online travel guides, but without lifting whole sentences verbatim. WORK DIRECTLY COPIED WITH LITTLE EDITS WILL NOT BE COMPENSATED. Each writer will be supervised by an editor and will be provided a style guide. Depending on the size/nature of article, expected completion is 45-60 minutes per article, with writers being able to wrok faster as they gain experience in each format. Personal backgrounds will be matched to article destinations/content where possible. Articles are assigned weekly and payment is made monthly. Writers who meet quality standards and who can adjust to the editor’s standards will be prioritized for work in a following week. The project will expand every week, from hundreds to thousands of articles, so new writes will be added constantly.
