Telecommute Systems Engineer
Company is seeking a Systems Engineer for client based in Colorado. Client is flexible and highly driven to find the right individual for their company and this opportunity. Colorado residency would be great but not required.
Responsibilities:- Design and develop new paradigms in software combining concept from supercomputing, neurobiology, and other disciplines
- Work with application developers and systems analysts to incorporate support for a wide variety of large, scalable, performance-based applications.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Experience with supercomputer, massively parallel and/or distributed computing environments
- Familiarity with operating system design and implementation (particularly Unix)
- Extensive experience in Java, JavaScript, C/C++, preferable in a cross-platform environment
- Experience working effectively in a team
- Good written and verbal communications skills
Additional Desired Skills:
- Experience with optimizing software for modern computer architectures
- Knowledge of a wide variety of application architectures and environments
