Telecommute SEO Contractor

Consulting firm has an opening for an SEO Contractor for assistance with junior SEO tasks on upcoming projects.This is a part-time, unknown term, position. Pay is $25 per hour.

• Search-engine friendly writing
• Text edits to websites – may be via CMS or blog tools, or may require HTML
• Generating monthly analytics reports using Google Analytics or other tools
• Potential to expand into project management depending on your performance and interest
• Project will require 10+/-hours per week for approximately 8 weeks. Longer term is a possibility

• Excellent written and spoken English – Good spelling is a MUST!
• Very high level of familiarity and comfort with the web
• Excel and general comfort with numbers
• Willingness to learn SEO concepts, and to keep up with new developments in the industry
• Online and available via Skype for at least 5 hours per week during the workday at the same times each week; remaining hours may be whenever you have availability
• Be prepared to turnaround short tasks, several times per week, rather than one long project
• Multi-tasking skills and the ability to hit deadlines will be needed
• Availability for occasional face-to-face meetings; must be within commuting distance of either San Francisco or Los Angeles
• Use own computer and software (MS Word and Excel)
• DSL or cable web connection
• Do NOT perform SEO services for any other clients during the term of the contract
