Work from Home Tier 1 Tech Support

PC Support Company seeking 25 candidates for Tier 1 Technical Support positions. These are 100% work from home FULL TIME, NOT CONTRACT positions.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

• PC support company/call center
• Requires 24/7 coverage, so multiple full time shifts available

 SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Min. 3 recent (2005-present) years desktop or call center support for all of the standard windows based systems, working with end users
• Previous technical support experience with Mac OS based systems considered a *BONUS*
• Demonstrated strong technical skills with all Microsoft Windows OS and application support and networking
• Must be well versed in resolving all common computer problems (e.g.,viruses, slow performance, errors, e-mail client set-up, software installation and configuration, wireless networks, peripheral problems)
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills and genuinely care about your customers,helping everyday people solve problems either by phone or remote computer access
• Be highly motivated and able to work independently
• Take ownership for problems and follow through to resolution.
• MUST HAVE at least ONE of the following certifications: A+, MCP, CCNA, MCSE, CCNP, Net+ *Please Note: Candidates without certification will not be considered for this position. **College degrees will not be accepted as substitutes for a certification.**

 ABOUT THE POSITION

• FULL-TIME (40 HOURS, NO PART-TIME SHIFTS) TEMP-PERMANENT Position- NOT a contract position
• Requires strong motivation to work with no supervision
• Applicants must be flexible with hours/days available; multiple shifts available with no guarantee as far as shift preference and you will be assigned a set schedule (must have full weekend and weekday flexibility)
• Candidates will need the following for remote set-up: 

1. High speed Internet access 
2. Dedicated Windows based computer with XP Pro at a minimum 
3. Quiet, private workspace 
4. Dedicated phone line No VOIP 
5. All other hardware/software will be provided
