Senior Database Developer

Company is seeking a Senior Database and Search Developer for a full time telecommuting position. Candidate will manage and assist with developing Shopping Search algorithms, data feed imports from over 2000 retailers, and Search data; improve ETL tool and processes; manage vendor relationships; and assist with building shopping portals, iPhone apps, plug-ins, etc.

• Must have extensive experience in Linux and MySQL and search technologies such as Sphinx
• Must have strong experience managing data and writing databases; be able to manage vendor relationships
• Must have experience with start-up companies
• Must be able to multi-task and be a leader without needing much assistance
• Must possess a great sense of humor
• Must be prepared to discuss Search and Database experience during phone interview
