Remote Sr. Cisco Engineer

Company seeking  Senior Cisco Engineer. This is a 100% remote long-term position for local candidates (Chicago area).

SKILLS/EXPERTISE REQUIRED

• OSPF, BGP (static routes, redistribution) HSRP, Rapid, etc.
• 6500s/Sup720s support, troubleshooting, 4500s
• Layer 2 and Layer 3
  
• Sniffer knowledge
• Any Cisco CSS and F5 experience a *PLUS*
  

ABOUT THE POSITION

• Senior position that requires architecture level knowledge, support and troubleshooting 
• Write up design documents
• Visio documentation
• Some easy user tickets need to be resolved over the phone

*PLEASE NOTE*

• Long-term independent contractor position  (1-2+ years)
• Remote, but must be local to Chicago/Indiana (Hammond or Merrilville)

Location: Remote, but must be local to Chicago/Indiana area

Compensation: $45 -$55/hour
