Contract Writer for Financial Accounting Course Content

Major educational content company seeking a contract writer for Financial Accounting Course Content. This is a partial telecommute position and must attend meetings in Manhattan/Burr Ridge offices.

SKILLS/EXPERTISE REQUIRED

• Strong educational background in business/financial accounting
• Superior command of English and can express it in writing
• Commit to a minimum of 30 hours per week for at least 3 months (though it could extend to 4-5 months)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Attend required meetings in our Manhattan or Burr Ridge offices
• Equipment necessary for work from home: laptop, high speed connection, comfortable chair, etc.
• Keen interest in developing digital education products that will effect fundamental change in how the next generation of students learns

ABOUT THE POSITION

• Write online course content, including explanatory text, interactive scenarios and activities, and feedback.
• Ensure content and copy meets established voice, tone, and style standards.
• Partner with MHHEs product team and subject matter experts to ensure the content meets business and technology requirements.
• Interview faculty and other instructors to gather data on digital adoption.
• Participate in meetings as necessary.
  

Location:  Partial Telecommute / Attend required meetings in Manhattan/Burr Ridge offices

Compensation:  $30 - $35/hour DOE
