Lead Developer

Development Project leader is needed for managing the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to executing, developing, implementing and maintaining innovative new projects in the social media space.  Projects would include customer WordPress development and complete web applications, devised and built by the project leader. This is a work from home position.

Responsibilities include:

-Defining the product strategy and roadmap
-Defining and segmenting the target market
-Creating product milestones and measuring weekly progress to goals
-Articulating the key user benefits of product features
-Own product launch details, and support the Marketing and Editorial team in launching product
-Developing advanced web applications
-Writing low maintenance, high reliability code to be used in a 24/7 environment
-Working with peers in other groups to define software standards and explore new technologies.

Ideal candidate must have:

-Strong communication skills
-Ability to multitask
-Demonstrated understanding of how quality software is designed and constructed.
-3+ years hands-on programming experience
-3+ years hands-on WordPress experience
-Strong PHP, HTTP, CSS, XML, MYSQL experience
-Experience working with JavaScript, AJAX and APIs.
