Assistant Managing Editor

Leading online media company for the accounting industry is seeking an innovative, strategic and talented Assistant Managing Editor. As the assistant managing editor, you will be responsible for guiding and managing specific areas of the company's audio and video content.

It's also your responsibility to identify and investigate opportunities for new editorial products and work with the sales team and marketing director to ensure their success in meeting the needs of all readers and advertisers.  This position allows you to work from home, but does require periodic business travel working trade shows, reporting from conferences and participating in company meetings.

Ideal candidate should possess the following:
-Bachelor's degree
-Excellent organizational and management abilities
-Outstanding written and oral communication skills
-Proficient with computer software and technology
-Minimum of three years experience in business media
Experience with financial or accounting titles is preferred.

Location: Work from home/Periodic business travel
