Web Designer
Web designer needed to help create, design and implement a MOSS based website. This is a work from home position. You can be located anywhere in the US or Canada.
Candidate's responsibilities would include:
-Leading project in migrating a standard HTML/ASPX website currently hosted on FTP, over to a new WSS/MOSS environment.
-Working with internal IT staff to define and implement new structure
-Performing all work related to actual customization (master pages, css, etc), and work with internal staff to perform content migration from existing site
-Holding meetings with internal IT staff to provide visibility to procedures used for actual customizations, to allow knowledge transfer for future modifications/maintenance
Candidate must possess the following technical skills:
- Must have experience using SharePoint Designer 2007
- Must have experience using Photoshop and Illustrator
- Must know how to use Macromedia: flash
- Must have experience with HTML , ASP, VB Script, Java script
- Must have experience with Microsoft Technologies: .NET, SQL
- Must understand Simple Content Management tools
- Must have Experience with Web site Analytics and Statistical tools
- Must know about web promotion, search engine optimization SEO: knowledge of Metatags, keywords, spiders, optimized content, ranking. Code highly optimized pages by hand.
- Must have experience with corporate intranet web sites
- Must be available during normal business hours
- Must be able to show portfolios
- Must be able to show documentation
