Joomla/PHP Developer

Company is seeking a Joomla web developer with knowledge in PHP that will allow them to make changes to Joomla at the core level.  This is a work from home position, but you must be able to attend meetings once a month in Washington DC.

Candidate must have the following skills:
-Solid knowledge of PHP
-Intermediate-to-Advanced Joomla, 1.5+ knowledge and experience
-Web design and web page prototyping
-Experience creating and editing Joomla 1.5+ templates
-Experience using MySQL and PHP in a Linux environment
-Knowledge of Apache web server as used in the Linux environment  
-Experience implementing Joomla 1.5+ extensions and plug- ins, especially those that might apply to a community / municipal government portal, including:
     *event calendaring
     *registrations
     *forms
     *surveys
     *Blogs
     *interactive documents, charts, and maps
     *e-payments

Location: Work from home/Washington DC
