Senior Web/Graphic Designer

Company is seeking a freelance web/graphic designer to work from home in a face-pace, deadline-driven environment. Candidate also must have a minimum of five years experience in design and layout for online, electronic and print corporate identity packages, ads, direct mail pieces, etc.

Candidate must possess the following skills:
-Ability to create new design concepts, strategies and innovative approaches compatible with the latest browsers
-Understanding of site architecture, data flow and intuitive navigation schemes
-Knowledge of HTML, XHTML, and CSS
-Proficiency in JavaScript, XML/XSL, ASP and standards-based coding a plus
-Expertise in the latest version of Macintosh-based Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign)

Educational Requirements:
-Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in a related field of study is required
-BA in Graphics or Communications or its equivalent is preferred.
 
Location: Work from home/Occasional on site creative meetings in Vienna, VA
