Kernel Level Developer
Company is seeking to hire Kernel Level Developers (multiple positions and titles), with a very solid and serious client going global in a new and exciting field of advanced storage technology. Candidate should have kernel/driver development experience along with the AIX background but would like to prioritize someone from the OSX space. Developers should have experience in any of the following areas Linux / MS Windows / OSX / FreeBSD / Solaris / AIX / HPUX . This position could allow partial telecommuting for exceptional candidates.
Ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
-Minimum 5+ years of C/C++ development required.
-Embedded development experience would be helpful
-Experience with Storage Devices and architectures a strong plus (NAS / SAN / iSCSI ).
- Cross-platform development would be very helpful.
- Embedded Experience, High Speed Networking, Infiniband.
Qualifications for file system developers are:
- 5+ years of C/C++ development required
- Experience with object file system, cluster file system, distributed file systems
Location: Partial Telecommute/Salt Lake City UT and Milpitas, CA
Compensation: Salary $100k-$160K
