Bookkeeper for a Church
A church is looking for part-time bookkeeper to maintain the church financial records, prepare financial reports, and provide accounting services.
Responsibilities include: keeping accurate and organized records of all financial transactions, including receipts and disbursements; working with a payroll service, prepare payroll checks and keep pertinent payroll records, pay all bills, and prepare a monthly financial statement.
The key qualifications: 1. Experienced in bookkeeping skills including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. 2. Characterized by integrity and high ethical standards. 3. Church experience, preferably a person familiar with the Baptist/free-church tradition. 4. Experienced with computer data processing programs. Good IT skills are essential.
Hours: Approximately 25-30 hours a week-Flexibility in work hours
Compensation: Hourly salary based on experience.
Location: Saint Louis, MO with some work possible from home
