Experienced Medical Biller

This is not an entry level position.

Company needs someone who is excellent at multi-tasking, organized, methodical and detailed oriented. Duties will primarily consist of processing medical information and posting charges as well as maintaining filling system, quality control of incoming billing documents, claim submission and timely follow-up with insurance companies. Eligible applicants should posses excellent written & verbal communication skills, proficient with computers and demonstrate the ability to effectively learn medical billing software. Other duties involved are responding to and resolving provider health plan claims inquiries and apply resolution in a timely fashion.

REQUIREMENTS
Applicant must be able to pass medical billing competency test prior to employment.
Must have a minimum of 2 years medical billing experience specifically detailed knowledge and understanding of ICD9 & CPT coding, medical terminology, insurance rules and regulations. Applicants must be able to type at least 55wpm and 10 key is a plus. After successful completion of probationary/training period (Simi Valley/SFV) you are eligible to work from home.
