Network Engineer III
Company is seeking a network engineer III to provide expert technical support and oversight in the planning, design, and operation of global, internal or external highly complex data or voice communication systems. Candidate will telecommute from their home during the week. Will require frequent conference calls, instant messages, emails, and document creation throughout the day will not be at a client location. Planned weekend installations will require travels to client sites to facilitate hands-on installation and configuration of network.
Responsibilities include:
- Documenting and demonstrating solutions by developing detailed engineering documentation, CLI configurations, Visio architectures and diagrams
- Recommending hardware and physical requirements to support network infrastructure changes. Tests and validates infrastructure changes before client inspection
- Traveling to client sites to facilitate hands-on installation and configuration of network hardware. Participates in daily project meetings and client briefings
- Providing timely post implementation briefs
- Interacting with colleagues and clients in a professional and courteous manner
Ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience upgrading and installing LANs and WANs or Voice Networks.
- Demonstrated systems architecture experience.
- Demonstrated experience recommending hardware and physical requirements to support network infrastructure changes.
- Demonstrated experience having developed detailed engineering documentation, CLI configurations, Visio architectures and diagrams.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- Strong presentations skills.
- Must be a US Citizen
Desired qualifications:
- Current Active Security Clearance is highly desired.
