Embedded Firmware Developer

Company has an immediate opening for a firmware developer for an optimization and scheduling system. Candidates must have at least 3 years experience in embedded firmware development using VHDL (Xilinx) and C. This is a telecommute position.

Candidate must have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelors degree or Masters Degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineer. GPA of at least 3.0 in core classes is highly desirable.
- Embedded software design/development experience for microprocessor controlled digital designs
- Experience with initial board bring up
- Experience with hardware / software integration
- Experience with embedded software development tools and hardware/software integration test tools
- Ability to program in C
- Knowledge of real time operating systems (RTOS), parallel processing, virtual memory management
- Advanced analytical skills
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and software engineering processes
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent resident with job permit.
