Writer/Editor

Company is seeking a freelance writer/editor with journalism experience to write/edit for a consumer/professional periodical publication focusing on education, trends, interviews and business news in hair & beauty industry. This is a work from home position.

Responsibilities include:
-Editing articles for content, writing magazine columns and featured articles, interviewing, future issue planning, and review of products.

Ideal candidates must have the following skills:
- Must be creative, have captivating writing style, be able to project and convey a fresh and interesting analysis of what’s currently happening and what is yet to come
- Must have excellent writing skills.
- Must possess strong communication skills as this job requires constant interaction with PR companies and industry professionals.
- Must identify new trends in the hair & beauty industry.
Preference is given to candidates who have substantial experience in writing for hair and beauty industry and have exceptional editorial and project management skills.
