Outside Sales Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese
Company is seeking a candidate who is bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese for outside sales. This is a work from home position.
Job responsibilities:
- Sell pay for results advertising to local independent delivery restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area
- Conduct phone cold calls & walk ins, schedule in person meetings, and sign up restaurants
- Exceed high volume sales goals while working with minimal supervision
- Use Mandarin Chinese language skills to sign Chinese speaking restaurant owners and become the Chinese language expert at GrubHub.com
- Be the local market expert: gather restaurant feedback, monitor competitor activity, and provide recommendations for improvements to management
Candidate must possess the following requirements:
- A hunter mentality: you love signing new business.
- Must be capable of meeting and exceeding high volume sales goals.
- Must be highly competitive and self-motivated.
- Must have the natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life, and above all, are trustworthy individuals.
- Must be a master at cold calling.
- Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or related area.
- One or more years of successful sales experience.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese
- Restaurant industry experience and/or experience working from home is a plus
- Familiar with a variety of sales concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to combine insights from past experiences, analytics, and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Willingness to work odd hours. Restaurants don’t operate 9 to 5, neither do we.
