Project Manager
Company is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to successfully develop, manage, execute and refine project plans throughout the project lifecycle, with the end goal of satisfied customers. This is a telecommute position.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Ensure compliance with documented project management methodology for all Consulting Services projects and coordination of all activities related to Consulting Services projects to ensure quality deliverables on a timely basis and within budget
Create vendor specific service offerings and promotes those offerings to the vendor community
- Effectively manage resource allocation for best use of talent, budget and time
- Ensure that consultant and client teams understand the scope of each project, in addition to having clear knowledge of clients business issues, goals and processes through comprehensive data collection and analysis
- Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and effectively resolves customer satisfaction issues
- Respond to customers and colleagues with an appropriate level of urgency and responsiveness
- Develop and present solutions to appropriate parties
- Professionally and proactively handle problems and/or conflict resolution
- Ensure that project assignments and work output is executed with precision and quality
- Recommend and assist in the development of project methodology and process improvements
- Develop and implement internal systems to support, document, automate and improve internal processes
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring and performance feedback to project team members
- Complete and approve standard administrative requirements such as time and expense reports, performance and incentive goals/reviews in a quality manner and by established deadlines
- Master the CMT product suite and is able to successfully and efficiently manage implementation services for all products
- Work effectively and professionally with client and company staff, maintaining positive working relationships and a positive teamwork environment
- Develops and executes a challenging and interesting self-education and professional development plan
- Assume various roles on projects
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience with project management in a technical environment, preferably in a client-site, systems implementation environment
- Proficient experience in technology consulting in a business environment
- Hands on technical expertise to guide customers through successful implementation of projects
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to interface with customers on cross-functional work teams both in person and in writing
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Project, MS Excel and MS Access
- Bachelors or technical degree in a related field or some equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability and flexibility to travel to client sites
- Up to 25% travel required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience successfully managing mid to large-scale technical projects
- Experience and knowledge of Domino architecture and administration and with Domino and Microsoft Exchange email applications
- Experience with managing application development projects
- Business value understanding of groupware, Internet/Intranet and enterprise e-mail
- Hands-on consulting management, development and/or business experience in a wide range of business environments and industries
- Experience doing technical training or creating technical training documentation

Compensation: Salary of $70-$95K
