Watershed Education Coordinator - Travel Required
Non-Profit Organization has a Part Time position open for a Watershed Education Coordinator to serve throughout school year. Candidate will work with other staff members to coordinate/lead a water quality data collection study. Will use classroom materials/activities to teach students in the field and in conjunction with the state Department of Environmental Quality.
- Must be experienced working with grades 5-12 students/teachers concerning environmental education
- Must possess solid coordination and communication skills
- Must possess experience with event planning
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a Natural Resources-related field and 2 years of related experience
- Must possess knowledge of ecosystems and natural resources in the Willamette Valley
- Must be able to work for about 6 months starting in January and possibly on into the summer. If available, training will begin prior to January.
- Must be able to work a variety of hours including some weekends; own reliable transportation, and possess auto insurance
Location: Work From Home
Compensation: $6,000 + mileage for travel (possibility for more compensation if more funding is gained)
