Video Editing and Motion Graphics Intern
Production company is seeking an up-beat, self-motivated Video Editing and Motion Graphics Intern for the remainder of 2009. This is open to college students with extensive video and sound editing production classes or graduate students only. You can work from home or you can come into the office.
Areas of work will include:
- Knowledge of logging, digitizing and basic editing
- Basic knowledge of Avid Media Composer and/ or Avid Express
- Familiarity with web compressions and tape dubbing
- Basic knowledge of After Effects
Ideal candidate must have the following skills:
- AVID and/or After Effects experience
- Must be able to transcribe audio and video and synchronize the transcription to the video
- Will be required to post finale product onto web sites in ms windows media format.
- Must type, have great short-term memory and good attention to detail.
- Must be fluent in English, with excellent vocabulary and spelling skills.
- Must have an excellent work ethic
- Must have the ability to create a compelling visual narrative for an educational environment
- Must be able to efficiently manage their time in an independent work environment.
Bonus skill:
- Other graphic / design or motional graphic software familiarity is a plus.
Location: Work from home/Maywood, IL
Compensation: $50 per production
