Web Application Developer

Company is seeking an experienced full-time web application developer to maintain, enhance and optimize an email marketing application. This position may allow telecommuting within Northern California after training.

Responsibilities:
- Implement new features and functionality quickly, efficiently, and effectively
- Work with support staff to identify and resolve defects
- Write automated tests to ensure proper and consistent application operation
- Monitor application performance and optimize code and application architecture

Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for writing elegant, modular code
- Experience building and maintaining web applications
- Creating, modifying, querying, and coding using MySQL
- Familiarity with Model-View-Controller design pattern
- Experience developing and operating under Linux
- Excellent time management skills

Education
- BS in Computer Science or similar highly preferred
