Buyer / Inventory Management

Company is seeking an experienced candidate to provide Buyer / Inventory Management. Successful applicant will work from home updating approx. 250 300 SKUs (seniors books, games and videos) as well as sourcing and adding new product-categories approx. 150 200 SKUs into our online inventory management application. This is a work from home position.

Job responsibilities:
- Work closely with our established vendors and source and add new ones.
- Source new and replacement products through all applicable means, negotiate vendor pricing and terms.
- Report daily via e-mail and telephone communications to upper management on the progress of this project.
- Work Price-Quotes from established and new vendors on a daily basis.
- Work closely and maintain strong working relationships with our established vendor’s network to facilitate open lines of communication.
- Maintain item data including cube, weight, case count, lead-time, unit-of-measure, alternate vendors, product information, images and pricing.
- Create and maintain purchase orders, including following-up on past due purchase orders, canceling obsolete purchase orders, and updating purchase orders for quantity, price or delivery changes.
- Generate and monitor drop-ship orders as needed.
- Work closely with warehouse location.

- Proficient with EXCEL, Microsoft Office and automated inventory systems.
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.

Candidate must have the following education and experience:
- 3-5 years of Merchandising and Inventory management experience in a high SKU count environment (Senior books, games and videos)
- Experience with eCommerce Systems
- College degree IT or Business major.

Location: Work from home
Compensation: $2,000 for Initial 30-DAY-PROJECT - $400/Month - PERMANENT AT-HOME POSITION
