RNs, RHIAs, RHITs for Medical Data Abstraction

Medical institute has an immediate need for an independent contractor for medical data abstraction.  This is a work from home position, but you must visit an area medical center monthly.  We are seeking individuals who reside within one of these cities or within easy ground traveling distance of it: Albany, New York; Albuquerque; Altoona, Pennsylvania; Bay Pines, Florida; Dallas; Fresno, CA; Miami; Reno, Nevada; and West Palm Beach, Florida. Some travel using personal transportation will be required.
 
Requirements:
- Must be an RN with a valid license or a medical records professional with current RHIA or RHIT certification and have recent clinical/HIM experience
- Data abstraction experience and knowledge of HEDIS and Joint Commission hospital quality measures a plus
- Must have strong computer skills, with access to broadband Internet.

- Evidence of stable work history expected.
