Senior Web Developer

Online media company and is looking for an experienced Senior Web Developer who will be responsible for enhancing our existing web sites and developing new ones. You should be an expert with LAMP development and possess a broad knowledge of web development techniques and principles. This is a full-time telecommuting position.

Job Responsibilities:
- Web application design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
- Coordinate with our graphic design and content teams.
- Design and implement new websites and new features for our existing websites.
- Constantly improving our user experience.


Experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 6 years minimum experience developing consumer-oriented web sites.
- 6 years minimum experience with object-oriented programming.
- 6 years minimum experience with SQL and database design.
- 3 years minimum experience with XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- 2 years minimum experience with PHP, MySql, and Apache.
- Firm understanding and knowledge of object-oriented principles and concepts.
- Experience with source code control techniques.
- Experience with Linux command line and shell scripting.
