Transcriptionist

Company is seeking an experienced transcriptionist.  This is a work from home position.

Candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- Must be able to begin work 1 week after resume review and acceptance and be able to work at least 20 hours a week (or 5 hours of audio)
- Must have at least 2 years of transcription experience.
- Must have in-depth knowledge and experience with general business and/or academic multi-speaker correspondence including; interviews, panel discussions, market studies, research studies and lectures
- Basic understanding of computer files and formats
- Must have/use a spell checker
- Excellent grammar skills and strong attention to details
- Must have complete knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Must meet our 24 hour turnaround timeframe when needed with notice.
- Must have your own computer
- Must have high speed internet access
- Must have your own foot pedal and PC based audio and video player - Start Stop Universal and Power Play programs preferred


System Requirements:
- Windows 2000, XP, or higher. Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Cable, DSL, or higher Internet connection (we prefer and/or recommend cable).
- Sound Card.
- Word 2000 or higher.
- Internet Explorer 5.01 or later.
