Sourcing Contractor

Publisher of electronic databases has an immediate opening for a part-time Sourcing Contractor. This is a work from home position, but weekly delivers to our Alexandria office are required.

Job Responsibilities:
- Required to research, request, and reproduce materials from the Library of Congress using applicable library facilities; including but not limited to: Photocopiers, Microfilm scanners and printers and audio-visual players and recorders.
- Responsible for weekly delivery of sourced material to our Alexandria office

Candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- Library of Congress Researcher card
- Access to computer with internet capability and email account for work use
- Experience working with Library of Congress catalog and Inter-Library Loan system
- Working knowledge of photocopiers, microfilm viewers, and digital scanners
- 16 hour minimum weekly commitment required but you make your own schedule.
- Ability to deliver materials to Alexandria office once per week. Willingness to do similar work at other libraries and/or academic facilities in the Washington DC regional area a plus but not necessary.

Location: Telecommute/Alexandria, VA
Compensation: $11/hr
