Primary Research Analysts

Competitive intelligence consulting firm is seeking Primary Research Analysts to support projects in the pharmaceutical industry. Ideal candidates are retired or semi-retired MDs or RNs from specialty areas such as oncology, nephrology, immunology, bone metabolism, sleep disorders, neurological disorders and dermatology. This is a work from home position, but candidates must live close to Orange County, CA for in-person training.

Specific duties include:
- Gathering/ analyzing primary information by conducting phone interviews (70% of time),
- Gathering/ analyzing primary information by attending conferences and meetings (CME, annual scientific meetings)
- Writing summaries of your interviews

Candidates should possess the following skills:
- Strong communication and people skills since most of your time will be spent speaking to people about their areas of expertise.
- Must be naturally inquisitive, enjoy talking to people and not shy about asking questions.
- Must have a home office with phone, computer and internet access
- Background knowledge of clinical trials, drug development/ research, pharmaceutical sales & marketing, managed care and/or physician reimbursement is helpful but not required.

Location: Work from home/Orange County, CA
Compensation: $30-40/hr
